My Journey to Forever 50 Wellness — How I Got Here

People often ask me how I became so passionate about health, longevity, anti-aging, and wellness.

The truth?

This didn’t happen overnight.

Forever 50 Wellness wasn’t created from a single transformation or one big “aha” moment.

It was built over decades.

Decades of learning. Decades of moving. Decades of studying. Decades of paying attention to my own body.

And honestly, every chapter of my life helped shape what I do now.

Where It All Started

My relationship with movement started early.I was a dancer as a child, and I think that planted something in me that never really went away.

Dance taught me:

  • discipline

  • body awareness

  • consistency

  • connection between movement and confidence

Even at a young age, I understood something powerful:When you feel strong in your body, you move through life differently. That lesson stayed with me. By 18, I was already comfortable in a gym.Not because someone forced me to be.Because movement had become part of who I was.

My Early Adult Years

In my twenties, I lived in Los Angeles. Anyone who has spent time there knows fitness is deeply woven into the culture. People are outside. They’re active. They care about wellness.

That environment influenced me. I won’t pretend it didn’t.

Living in LA strengthened my desire to feel:

  • strong

  • healthy

  • fit

  • comfortable in my body

That mindset followed me into adulthood.

Education Changed Everything

In my 30s, life took me to Northern California. That chapter ended up changing my future in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. I went back to school and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition. Later, I completed my MBA.

I wasn’t thinking: “One day I’m going to build a wellness brand.”

I was simply fascinated by the human body. I wanted to understand:

  • metabolism

  • nutrition

  • physiology

  • hormones

  • how food impacts health

I didn’t want trendy advice. I wanted science.

Looking back, that education quietly laid the foundation for everything I do now.

Motherhood and Perspective

Becoming a mother again in my 40s brought one of the most important roles of my life: Motherhood in Midlife.

Raising my two boys in my 40s changed me. Watching them grow into strong athletes has been incredibly rewarding. There’s something special about seeing your children build discipline, resilience, and confidence. Motherhood also taught me something else.

Women often put themselves last. We care for everyone. And somewhere along the way, many women stop caring for themselves. I saw that happen repeatedly.

What Changed in My 50s

Then came my 50s. And like many women, I began experiencing major body changes. Suddenly things that used to work... didn’t.

I noticed changes in:

  • metabolism

  • body composition

  • recovery

  • hormones

  • skin

  • energy

I had to adapt.

This is where so many women become discouraged. They think: “My body is broken.” It isn’t.

It’s changing. There’s a difference. That realization changed everything for me.

Why I Created Forever 50

I created Forever 50 Wellness because I saw a gap.

Most wellness content was either:

Too extreme

or

Too generic

I didn’t see enough honest conversations for women over 50. I wanted to create something different.

A place where women could learn about:

  • healthy aging

  • hormone optimization

  • metabolism

  • muscle preservation

  • anti-aging

  • longevity

  • sexual wellness

  • confidence

Without shame.

Without unrealistic expectations.

Without being told aging means decline.

Because I don’t believe that.

My Philosophy on Aging

Here’s what I believe: Aging is inevitable. Decline isn’t always inevitable. We can influence how we age.

That belief became even stronger after my biological age testing.

I’m 62 years old. My biological age tested at 50.

That result wasn’t about ego. It validated something I’ve believed for years. Daily choices matter. Small choices compound.

What Forever 50 Means to Me

Forever 50 does not mean pretending I’m 25. It doesn’t mean chasing perfection.

It means striving to maintain:

  • strength

  • vitality

  • mobility

  • confidence

  • resilience

  • healthspan

Healthspan matters to me even more than lifespan.

I don’t just want more years. I want better years.

I want to feel strong in those years.

What I Share Here

Everything I share through Forever 50 comes from three places:

Science

My nutrition education and research background.

Experience

What I’ve learned through decades of trial and refinement.

Results

Real strategies that have helped me.

That includes:

  • hormone optimization

  • strength training

  • supplements

  • longevity tools

  • nutrition

  • recovery

Final Thoughts

It took my whole life to get here. And I’m grateful for every decade.

Every lesson.

Every struggle.

Every pivot.

Forever 50 is about helping women redefine what aging can look like.

You are not invisible after 50.

You are not “past your prime.”

You are not done becoming.

In many ways, this chapter can be your strongest.

That’s what Forever 50 means to me.

And I’m so glad you’re here.
